Ana de Armas nails casual chic Venice International Film Festival (2024)

Ana de Armas was joined by her boyfriend Paul Boukadakis on Monday as she arrived at the 79th Venice International Film Festival.

The couple were seen cosying up during a water taxi ride through the city, which will host the world premiere of Ana's Marilyn Monroe biopic Blonde on Thursday night.

Ana's entrepreneur beau wrapped his arm around her as they took in the sights after touching down in Venice on Monday morning.

The actress, 34, showed off her sense of style as she slipped into a cream jumpsuit and edgy black loafers for her first day at the festival.

The Bond girl rounded off her off-duty look accessorising with a Louis Vuitton bag, Logan Hollowell jewelry and a pair of cat-eye sunglasses as she was seen touching down at the airport.

The outing comes after Ana was spotted catching a flight out of New York City alongside her boyfriend on Sunday.

The couple, who have been dating for about a year and a half, have made an effort to keep their romance out of the public eye as much as possible, partly due to all the attention that her previous relationship with Ben Affleck garnered during their year together.

The couple first met through a mutual friend during one of the heights of the COVID-19 pandemic, according to Elle .

With most public spaces and businesses closed during lockdown, the pair got to know each other while sipping on wine together in their respective homes.

By June of 2021, Page Six reported that they had been dating for 'a few months', and he had already introduced her to some of his family.

The pair would eventually confirm their romance when they were spotted sharing a passionate kiss in Los Angeles last December.

They have since taken the relationship to the next level by moving in together in an apartment in New York City.

Ana's high-profile romance with Ben, and all the scrutiny that came along with it, was one of the contributing factors for the actress to decide to make the move from Los Angeles to New York.

'Going through it [myself] confirmed my thoughts about, "This is not the place for me to be,"' she said of her seven years in LA.

'It became a little bit too much. There's no escape. There's no way out... It's always the feeling of something that you don't have, something missing. It's a city that keeps you anxious.'

The former couple met on the set ofDeep Water in late 2019, and then began dating during the initial pandemic quarantine in March 2020, through until their split in January 2021.

It appearsde Ana andPaul started their relationship a couple of months after she decided to end things with Ben Affleck.

The actress had two new films drop this year: Deep Water, theerotic psychological thriller with Affleck, in March on Hulu, and theaction thriller film The Gray Man, in July, which also stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans, among many others.

Blonde is scheduled to begin streaming on Netflix on September 28.

Most recently she shot theromantic action-adventure film Ghosted, that also stars Chris Evans, from February until mid-May.
